I look forward to visiting the cemetery every year before Rosh Hashana . Even though my brothers and I live in different places and different states,we make a commitment to gather there every year . It is a family affair where we make a concerted effort to meet there with our spouses and reminisce. We walk around to all family members stones and others who were close to all of us. It is a place that brings back memories of those who we love and miss. It brings a sense of peace and love that we share as a family. Even my best childhood girlfriend from the area ,meets us there every year! After we pay our respects we then go out to lunch at a local restaurant , say our goodbyes ,hug and kiss , and go on our way.
