Milton took a liking to this little kid growing up and treated me to company train and tractor trailer rides, ice cream and candy treats, I even remember having my own desk in the business office complete with pencils and paper, probably to keep me busy drawing instead of \u201cbothering \u201c the other office workers. Uncle Miltie did a lot for the town and was the best neighbor. Even though my brothers and I live in different places  and different states,we make a commitment to gather there every year .  It is a family affair where we make a concerted effort to meet there with our spouses and reminisce.  We walk around to all family members stones and others who were close to all of us. It is a place that brings back memories of those who we love and miss.  It brings a sense of peace and love that we share as a family.  Even my best childhood girlfriend from the area ,meets us there every year! On that day, I was riding with the funeral director in the hearse that carried her coffin. As we entered the cemetery and proceeded toward her burial plot, he remarked (paraphrasing) \u201cGoing down this driveway always reminds me of going down the main streets of Shenandoah and Frackville (the neighboring town where I grew up, whose Jewish community shared the cemetery). What a wonderful tribute to the Jewish community. The documentation of obituaries, biographies, and memorials tells the story of a vibrant community, filled with the joys and sorrows of life.
